Can I use proxy for Instagram?
Yes, you can. RH Proxy usage is not limited to only Instagram. You can use it for any social networks or websites like Facebook, Google, Yandex, Twitter, Adidas, etc.
Is it shipped with the sim card?
No. After you receive your private proxy you will need to get a sim card from your local provider (e.g. Sprint, AT&T, Vodafone, etc) and install it in RH Proxy. This is a similar approach to when you buy a new smartphone. By the way, you could also try it out with your personal sim card.
Can someone else use my proxy?
No. Your mobile proxy is fully under your control. You physically own the proxy device and mobile data plan (sim card). There is no way someone else can use it.
My proxy doesn't work/stopped working, what do I do?
This is something that is unlikely to happen, however it might appear for some reason (e.g. Wi-Fi has been changed) that your mobile proxy is not reachable. First, we recommend to reset proxy (long press of reset button) and then set it up again. We are always happy to assist you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via hello@rhproxy.com
What is included with the proxy?
You will get a package that contains RH Proxy device, USB-C power cable, high-gain antenna and instructions on how to set it up.
Do I need to pay a subscription fee?
No. You pay once for the RH Proxy device and it is yours forever. You can use it from home without any additional charges – you only pay for the mobile plan you use. Also, we are currently developing a cloud solution that will allow you to use your private mobile proxy from the cloud anywhere. We may introduce a small monthly fee for that.
Do I need Wi-Fi to connect my proxy?
Yes. One of the installation steps of RH Proxy is to connect it to the existing Wi-Fi network. After you are done with that it will be accessible by any (and only!) device in your Wi-Fi network.
How do I use my mobile proxy?
The usage is pretty straightforward. After all the installation steps are done you will see the proxy URL and port for each of the supported proxy protocols: SOCKS, HTTP and HTTPS.
